The month of May will be designated “Sunday School and Small Groups Month” here at McEver Road UMC.  All month long, a special emphasis will be placed on the Wesleyan tradition of gathering in small groups to tend to our spiritual well-being.

If you are already involved in small group studies, tell others about it! If you are not, you are urged to find a group. We have quite a number of groups studying a variety of different topics. Also, as part of this emphasis, Ray Gibbs will be leading a six-week study of “Methodism 101-What it means to be a United Methodist.” This will be held at 10AM on Sundays beginning May 6th. If you would like to be a part of this study, please write “Methodism 101” on your communications card, or call the church office at 770-532-3160 by Sunday, April 29th. This would be an excellent way to get started.

A caring, earnest small group is a wonderful addition to the care of one’s spiritual life. “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”-Matthew 18:20.
