Every person and every community has different needs. Our goal is not to be everything for everyone, but, instead, to listen to our neighbors and community leaders to better understand what the needs of our surrounding communities have and how we might meet them.
Of course, communities are more than their needs or pain-points, which is why we want to also partner and support all the GOOD that is already happening in and around our communities.
Loving and serving well first requires listening. Learn about some of the ways we're serving and partnering to make the love of Jesus a real, tangible experience for our neighbors.
A great way to serve our neighbors is by partnering with our local schools to engage the families in our community in diverse ways in order to show them the love of Jesus! We are proud partners with Oakwood Elementary, West Hall Middle School, and West Hall High School. Throughout the year, we provide student mentoring, teacher appreciation, program support, financial assistance, and helping hands wherever and in whatever ways our schools need!
The South Hall Food Pantry helps people in need, particularly around food insecurity. The Pantry is supported by several local churches in the area to insure food is stocked and people are served regularly and consistently.
If you are in need of food, please contact our church office to get a referral.

The Good News at Noon ministry provides a variety of services to people experiencing poverty and/or homelessness. They have worship services every day, then serve lunch afterward.
On weekdays, they also have a worship service at 7:00 p.m. followed by dinner for approximately 75 people.
In addition to lunch and dinner, they also provide a shelter for homeless men and women, a food pantry, English and Spanish language lessons, and tutoring for children.
McEver Rd Church provides and serves dinner at Good News at Noon on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays.

In May of 2012, Family Promise opened its doors and received its first family. Since then, they have helped low-income families achieve lasting independence by providing shelter, meals, and support services. Through intensive case management and counseling, they address the underlying causes of homelessness.
In fact, Family Promise of Hall County purchased our previous church property, which now serves as their main campus for serving families in need.
We partner with Family Promise to provide hot meals and any other supplies families might need or request.

Hispanic Alliance Georgia provides wrap around services specific to Latino families in need in Hall County and surrounding areas. They prioritize the most vulnerable families and children, who are living in poverty, with no other relief and with little or no support network.
Our church often supports these families through a variety of donations, depending on need.

"HUGS: Help Us Go to School" is a ministry to children in Panajachel, Guatemala begun in 2019 by Janni & Dynelle Martin. The primary focus of HUGS is to provide school uniforms, shoes, gym clothes, books, school supplies and, when needed, transportation that allows children to continue in school who would otherwise be working at a very young age. HUGS attempts to end the cycle of poverty in families by providing resources for the children to continue their education. HUGS also supplies groceries for families experiencing food insecurity. Many of our students have never seen a dentist so HUGS has collaborated with a local dentist to provide care.
You can change the life of a student AND their family! See how below:
